Costs of Full-Time RVing – August 2018

August 2018 found us traveling from Bismarck, North Dakota through Montana and Idaho to Burbank, Washington. We spent time in two National Parks – Teddy Roosevelt and Glacier – along with visiting a myriad of other locations while traveling more miles than we ever have in a month.

Even with the additional miles and increased fuel prices our total expenses for the month were only slightly above our average expenditure of $1,500. We do expect this increase to continue over the next two months as we make our way south to Arizona where we will spend the winter.

  1. Thank you so much for publishing your monthly RV’ing cost breakdowns. This is one area that we are struggling with to create a realistic budget in preparation for fulltiming in Spring of 2020. Your experience is helping us weigh all of the cost factors and helping us plan. Much appreciated! Happy and safe travels to you!
